London-based fund and wealth manager, JO Hambro, has recruited John Wood, to launch an onshore UK opportunities fund this autumn. He was previously at Newton, where he ran the group’s UK opportunities fund. J O Hambro, owned by Credit Suisse, has equity assets under management of £2.2 billion ($3.8 billion).
