Arbuthnot Banking Moves Its City Of London Headquarters

AIM listed Arbuthnot Banking Group has moved its headquarters just three streets down from where it currently stands in the City of London.

AIM listed Arbuthnot Banking Group has moved its headquarters just three streets down the road from where it currently stands in the City of London.

The firm now resides in number 7, Wilson Street having spent ten years around the corner on Ropemaker Street. The new location is near Finsbury Circus and Moorgate tube station.

“The move of the Arbuthnot headquarters to Wilson Street is another milestone in our long-established history and is the next significant landmark in the development of our business which started in 1833 less than half a mile away in Great St Helen’s,” said Henry Angest, Arbuthnot Banking Group’s chairman and chief executive.

In a third quarter statement published last month Arbuthnot Latham - the private banking arm of UK-quoted Arbuthnot Banking Group - said it has seen a good flow of new client introductions leading to attractive loan opportunities and further increases in funds under management.

It said it now expects full-year results to be "marginally ahead" of market expectations.
