Payne Hicks Beach
London law firm Payne Hicks
Beach has appointed Sara Morgan, a specialist in UK taxes of
international high net worth individuals, as a partner in the
private client team.
Morgan, who is joining from Fieldfisher LLP, brings experience of advising on personal taxation, trust and estate planning for high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and trustees, particularly where there is an international dimension, the firm said in a statement.
She moved to Fieldfisher LLP with the Linklaters trusts team. Prior to this, she worked in other London private client teams, including Withers and Forsters. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2004, became a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2006 and a member of STEP in 2007.
Morgan said: “The private client team at Payne Hicks Beach has a formidable reputation of excellence and for valuing its clients, many of whom have long-standing relationships with the firm.”
“I am delighted to be adding my experience of dealing with
complex international clients to an already impressive team,” she
continued.
Robert Brodrick, chairman of Payne Hicks Beach, added: “Sara will
be a great asset to Payne Hicks Beach where we pride ourselves on
the fact that we support our clients in all aspects of their,
often-global, lives.”
“The ability to add her experience of international matters to the many other legal services we provide will enhance the offering to our clients. Sara’s reputation for professionalism and technical ability is a perfect fit for our team,” he said.
This is the fifth partner hire since May at the firm, with Till Vere-Hodge (art and cultural heritage partner), Mark Jones (crime), James Townsend (employment) and Mark Gay (sport) all joining since then.
