Former deputy attorney general of Switzerland, Maria-Antonella
Bino, will be taking over as general counsel at Vontobel, starting next
month. She will assume global responsibility for legal and
compliance functions at the Swiss wealth manager and will join
the executive committee of Vontobel Holding AG and Bank Vontobel
AG.
She is joining from Swiss digital bank Sygnum, where she held similar legal and compliance responsibilities and was also a member of the executive board. Prior to that, Bino served as general counsel and executive board member of BNP Paribas’s Swiss business in Geneva.
“She will strengthen our leadership team with her wealth of experience both in the area of finance and in federal justice,” Vontobel CEO Zeno Staub, said.

Brothers Asset Management has appointed Tristan Robinson as
investment director, to support the growth of its investment
management service for high net worth clients in the North
West.
Robinson was previously at Brown Shipley, where he spent nine
years as a client director in Manchester, running a diverse range
of portfolios for private individuals, charities, and family
trusts. He is a chartered member of the Institute for Securities
& Investment and has obtained the CISI Diploma, achieving a
distinction in the private client management paper.

Personal Wealth has appointed Marcelo Rodrigues to lead its
business development proposition, brand and marketing activities,
and strategic partnerships in Scotland and Northern Ireland to
support growth.
He was previously a senior manager at Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group and, most recently, business development director at a boutique wealth management firm in Edinburgh, where he also provided financial advice to high net worth clients.
