The latest senior moves in wealth management and legal services in the UK and Europe.

Investment manager, First State Investments, has appointed Niall Mills as head of global infrastructure investments in the unlisted infrastructure arm. He is filling the slot vacated by Perry Clausen, who has been named global chief investment officer.

First State Investments (known as First Sentier Investors in Australia) oversees infrastructure investments with $8.4 billion (as at 31 March 2020) in unlisted infrastructure equity investments. The firm has been active in the space since 1994.

London-based Mills joined the senior management team as partner in the European infrastructure business in 2008, working alongside other SMT members Marcus Ayre, Danny Latham and Chris McArthur.
