The latest senior moves in wealth management and legal services from across Europe and the UK.

European business Finlight.com, a digital
platform built by family office and institutional asset
management experts, has appointed Adam Denning, a 25-year
Microsoft veteran as
a non-executive director.
At Microsoft, Denning reported to the corporate VP of the Windows
platform, leading an international team of over 100 people and
executing updates to Windows to deliver new customers. Before
then, from 1999-2001, he served as an assistant technical advisor
to the executive office. His field of expertise includes product
management; technical strategy and software delivery.
“We are at a critical moment of business growth and we believe
ourselves to be well-positioned, particularly at this moment of
crisis, to help family offices and wealth managers upgrade their
operational processes and embrace digital technologies,” J-B

Charles Russell Speechlys
Starting on 1 May, Charles
Russell Speechlys has promoted four lawyers to partner level.
In other moves, eight were promoted to legal director, and 17 to
senior associate.
The newly promoted partners are Oliver Auld in private wealth
disputes; Helen Coward in corporate tax; and Eddie Richards and
Alexander Gold in real estate.
Managing partner Simon Ridpath, said the promotions reflected a
renewed focus on “strengthening core areas of our business, even
as we weather these challenging times.”
The announcements follow Jason Freedman becoming a partner in corporate restructuring and insolvency, and Charlotte Duly becoming the legal director and head of brand protection in the intellectual property team. The law firm works with clients in the UK and internationally, with lawyers based in 11 locations across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Auld, who joined the firm as a trainee, qualifying in 2009, acts
for clients in multi-jurisdictional disputes involving inherited
wealth held in English and offshore family trusts. Coward, who
joined in 2016, focuses on owner-managed business taxation. In
real estate, Richards joined as a trainee in 2008; he advises on
a range of landlord and tenant issues in the retail and leisure
sectors. Gold, who focuses on commercial property, joined in
2015.
Mirabaud
Mirabaud Asset Management, the investment arm of Switzerland’s
Mirabaud, has
appointed Ozan Kazim to join its UK wholesale
team.
Kazim joins from Slater Investments, where he was head of
distribution for the past five years. Prior to that he was a
private client broker from 2009.
The MAM team is led by managers Anu Narula and Paul Middleton.
The firm said that its UK equity and fixed income capabilities
are seeing “heightened UK wholesale investor interest”.
