Private equity specialist Christian Skaanild has been named as a partner at Bordier & Cie. The Danish national moves after 18 years at asset manager Capital Group, where he was latterly partner and head of emerging markets in private equity based in London, Geneva, Tokyo and Singapore.

Prior to that, he spent several years at London VC firm Antfactory, and is a former strategy consultant for Accenture, also based in London.

“His international profile and career in private equity will provide us with the requisite expertise to navigate these sophisticated markets, which have become essential for our wealth management clients,” managing partner at the private bank, Grégoire Bordier, said.

Investor services group IQ-EQ has appointed French funds veteran Bruno Noyon to manage operations in France following last year's purchase of Paris-based private equity fund administrator Peru & Partners.

The deal has added fund administration, company valuation and accounting services to the group’s French private equity business. France ranks in the top five largest global markets for private equity, the firm said, which manages around $400 billion for clients.

Noyon joins IQ-EQ after running the French investment business of a US-listed global financial services firm for 16 years as senior VP and chief operating officer.
