Brown Shipley
London-based private bank Brown Shipley has appointed Richard McGregor in a newly-created role as national head of Court of Protection and personal injury.

In the role, McGregor will work closely with the wealth management firm’s Court of Protection teams in Manchester and London and lead specialist services for high net worth clients across the UK.

A field veteran, McGregor was previously head of Court of Protection and personal injury at Arbuthnot Latham. Before that, he spent several years at Barclays Wealth and Investment and 10 years at Towry (now Tilney), specialising at both firms in Court of Protection and personal injury cases. At Brown Shipley, he will report to client director Julian Hardiman.

With regional offices in Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, the group said it wants to “add additional talent at all levels across the business".
