Vanguard, the US
investment group, has pushed into the Italian market, listing a
range of exchange traded funds on the country’s stock
market.
One of the largest investment houses in the world, with $5.1
trillion of assets under management, the firm is listing a range
of equity and fixed income ETFs on Borsa Italia.
“We are especially looking forward to partnering with our clients
- including asset managers, banks, insurance companies and
pension fund managers as well as professional clients managing
products and savings for and on behalf of retail clients – to
give them the best chance for investment success,” Simone Rosti,
head of Italy at Vanguard, said.
The following ETFs are being listed:
Leonteq
Swiss technology firm Leonteq, which concentrates on
the structured products sector, is teaming up with Finanz und
Wirtschaft, the publication and provider of financial analysis.
The collaboration builds a chance to buy a tracker certificate on
the FuW Risk Portfolio Index.
An exchange-traded tracker certificate for the FuW Risk Portfolio
Index can be now be bought – this is a Swiss equity portfolio
with a track record from the FuW publishing house. Investors can
start with as little as SFr100 ($100.5).
FuW has been making investment recommendations within the FuW
Risk Portfolio and publishing them since 1995. When selecting
portfolio components, the publication’s team mainly focuses on
undervalued Swiss equities (large-, mid- and small-cap equities)
with a higher degree of risk and a short to medium investment
horizon. Allocation of components are made by an FuW editorial
team based on a combination of fundamental and technical
analysis.
