HSBC
Asset Management has launched an exchange-traded fund
targeting sustainable investments.
The entity, which is called the HSBC Europe ex UK Sustainable
Equity UCITS ETF, is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The fund aims to achieve an ESG score improvement of up to 20 per
cent, a carbon emission intensity reduction target of up to 50
per cent, and a fossil fuel reserve reduction target of up to 50
per cent relative to the parent index. The fund will be
rebalanced each month.
