Washington Broker-Dealer Launches Wealth Management Platform Via Envestnet

Symetra Investment Services, the independent broker-dealer, has made a wealth management platform available to its affiliated advisors via New York-listed Envestnet, a provider of technology-enabled wealth management solutions.

The platform provides Symetra advisors with a range of online tools, including aggregated reporting capabilities. Bellevue, WA-based Symetra is a subsidiary of New York-listed Symetra Financial Corporation.

Envestnet's end-to-end wealth management platform combines analytic tools, reporting and other practice management applications.

In August, the firm reported that revenues from assets under management or administration increased 22 per cent year-over-year to $31 million for the second quarter, while total revenues (including licensing and professional services fees) climbed 21 per cent to $38 million.

In June, CLS Investments, the Omaha-based money manager, made 12 new risk-budgeted investment models available via Envestnet's platform. The same week, Envestnet signed a strategic partnership with Achaean Financial, integrating Achaean's retirement advice software into its wealth management platform.
