US Wealth Manager Names New Regional MD

Pittsburgh-based PNC has named veteran staffer Richard Cairns as its managing director of wealth management services in Delaware. He replaces Walter Welsh who was recently made managing executive of PNC's banking business in Philadelphia.

Mr Cairns leads a team of wealth-management professionals who provide private banking, investment and trust services to clients across the state.

A PNC Wealth Management employee since 1995, Mr Cairns has nearly 30 years of experience in the private client industry.

PNC Wealth Management has about 45 offices in 10 (mainly eastern) US states and in the District of Columbia.
