US Investment Platform, Mercer, Expand Partnership To Add Institutional Private Equity

The investment platform organisation and Mercer have widened the terms of a business partnership.

CAIS, a US-headquartered investment platform business, and Mercer, the global consultancy, have boosted their strategic partnership by adding institutional private equity to CAIS’s offering.

Registered investment advisors will be able to make use of Mercer’s strategy recommendations, due diligence summaries on funds and get an active menu of investable third-party funds because of the move, an announcement yesterday from the firms said. Mercer also provides clients with access to its proprietary multi-manager fund through CAIS.

Mercer’s private equity research team actively follows over 500 fund managers representing approximately 1,200 strategies globally.

CAIS member-firms, which include RIAs and family offices, have transacted around $2.5 billion across the platform, in an array of alternative investments funds and capital markets offerings.
