Arbuthnot Latham & Co, the UK-based private bank, has appointed Adam Patten as a senior private banker, following a series of hires by the firm in recent months.

Patten, with more than 25 years’ experience in the financial sector, was most recently a director at Coutts & Co, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth clients.

In other recent developments, last month Arbuthnot Latham & Co hired another ex-Coutts employee, Jim Pittick as director, commercial banking, responsible for corporate and commercial clients.
