Route Group, a London-based financial advisory firm, said it plans to launch a discretionary asset management facility later this year and target individuals with high earnings but low capital wealth. Such clients should be prime targets for advisors willing to chase the market ignored by private banks, according the Route Group. The group plans to target clients aged between 35-45 and earning between £250,000 ($452,724) to £1 million annually. Route says these earners are more plentiful than might be believed, but they are seen falling between independent financial advisors and private banks.
