UK Advisory Firm Opts For SEI's Global Wealth Services

Guardian Wealth Management has signed up to SEI’s Global Wealth Services offering, designed to provide an end-to-end solution for the firm's entire book of business.

The UK-based advisory boutique, which recently announced its plan to move its UK office to Cardiff, is expanding its UK presence, “in part due to the impending implementation of the Retail Distribution Review at the end of this year,” it said.

SEI provides its Global Wealth Services - deployed via its Global Wealth Platform - to a range of firms across the financial services industry. Earlier this week, HSBC renewed its contract with the firm - which powers its UK private banking offering - to stretch until 2015.

GWS is an outsourcing option for wealth managers which combines wealth processing technology and wealth management programs, coupled with business process knowledge.

At the end of June, through its subsidiaries and partnerships in which the company has a significant interest, SEI managed or administered $424 billion in mutual fund and pooled or separately managed assets, including $182 billion in assets under management and $242 billion in assets under administration.
