UK's StormHarbour Names Two To Key Asian Positions

UK-based global markets and financial advisory firm StormHarbour has made two key appointments in Hong Kong, in a move that further bolsters its presence in Greater China and Korea.

Hong Hoo Moon and Guohua Ren have joined the company as managing director, reporting to Water Cheung, the principal and chief executive for the Asia-Pacific. Moon was previously the head of financial institutions group and head of investment banking at BNP Paribas Securities Korea, while Ren was the head of capital markets, China global markets, at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong.

StormHarbour has been expanding its senior client coverage team in core global markets over the past year, reflecting its commitment to grow internationally. In March this year, the company added four senior executives to its Hong Kong and Singapore businesses, particularly for its infrastructure finance division.
