Rathbone Investment Management, part of UK-listed Rathbone Brothers, has appointed former Investec manager Keith MacKenzie to its Edinburgh office, continuing a run of hires this year.

MacKenzie joins as an investment manager, reporting to David Macaulay, Rathbones’ regional director based in Edinburgh, the firm said in a statement.

In his previous job, he was an investment manager at Investec Wealth and Investment Management; MacKenzie worked at the firm for four years. Before that, he was an investment manager at Barclays’ investment and wealth management arm and a business analyst at Royal London.

Other new joiners this year include Rowland Flower, Evangelos Assimakos, Caroline O’Callaghan, Tony Milner and James Neill, who have joined Rathbones’ offices across the UK.
