UHNW-Focused Banker Departs Union Bancaire Privée
The banker, who concentrates on areas such as UHNW clients in emerging markets, had previously worked at Citigroup and Credit Suisse, and has been based in Geneva.
Union
Bancaire Privée has confirmed that Vikram Gopalakrishnan, who
joined the Swiss private bank in January year, no longer
works at the firm.
The Geneva-headquartered bank declined to comment further. His
exit was reported on other news services yesterday.
Gopalakrishnan was based in Geneva, and his role involved a focus
on ultra-high net worth clients in emerging markets, his LinkedIn
profile stated.
Prior to UBP, he worked (June 2016 to January 2023) at Credit
Suisse in advisory and sales, also working in the UHNW space,
operating as an investment consultant covering Africa and the
Middle East.
Before this, he worked at Citigroup, most recently as director in
the investments space, again concentrating on UHNW clients across
the global NRI, Middle East and Africa markets.
This news service understands that Gopalakrishnan hasn’t left to
join a rival firm.
