At the start of this month UBS Wealth Management Americas signed on 24 financial advisors in the US from a variety of competitors, according to media reports.

Of the 24, 10 joined the firm from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, four from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and four from Wells Fargo Advisors, the reports said.

Advisors joining from Wells Fargo include Frank Scicchitano and Mark Fulton, who are based in Washington, DC. Together they manage $100 million in client assets.

John Kelly and Michael Rinaldo come on board in Bedminster, New Jersey, from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. The two manage $103 million in assets.

UBS had not commented on the reports to this publication at the time of going to press.
