Two New Investment Sales Directors For SWIP Wholesale Team

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Michaela Rayner and Martin Orrin as investment sales directors in its UK wholesale team.

Rayner will be responsible for increasing SWIP's share of the intermediary and discretionary fund management markets in the North of England while Orrin will focus on the south-west of England and the Midlands. Both report to Martyn Gilbey head of wholesale.

Rayner joins SWIP from AXA Investment Managers where she was a discretionary sales manager with responsibility for the north of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. She has also previously worked in sales roles with Britannic Asset Management and Fidelity.

Orrin joins from Smith & Williamson Investment Management where he was associate director with responsibility for developing discretionary and IFA accounts in the south, south west, Wales and Northern Ireland. Before that he worked at Threadneedle Investments.
