Trio Of Hires For RBC Wealth Management's Indonesia-Focused Team

Royal Bank of Canada’s wealth management arm has further boosted its Indonesia-focused sales team with three senior bankers.

Samuel Witjaksono has been hired as executive director, RBC Wealth Management. He brings with him over 30 years of banking experience, mostly recently from Sarasin & Cie, a spokesperson for the bank told WealthBriefingAsia, a sister website of this publication.

Witjaksono is joined by newly appointed directors, Reto Caviezel and Kusnadi Sudikarman, who each have more than 20 years of banking experience.

The trio come from Sarasin, having previously worked at UBS. They are based in Singapore, reporting to Febby Avianto, managing director and market manager, who joined RBC earlier this year, also from Sarasin.

Royal Bank of Canada Wealth Management has made a series of hires recently – just last month Enoch Tan joined as managing director, reporting to Andrew Turczyniak, managing director and head of RBC Wealth Management, Asia;  Joseph Howe was named co-head of credit, for Asia, also reporting to Turczyniak; and Mona Leong was hired as senior credit risk manager at the bank.
