The Bahamas Financial Services Board: Shaping The Future Of FinTech And Wealth Management
This document sets out areas that continue to preoccupy financial services professionals working in The Bahamas. Separately, this news service is pleased to announce a Landfall event on October 24 in Miami in conjunction with the Bahamas Financial Services Board.
The future of fintech, and the way that this sector can thrive in an international financial centre such as The Bahamas, is one of the themes set out in the second edition of The Bahamas: A Complete and Compelling Choice.
This second report highlights The Bahamas as a leader in
financial technology, emphasizing the innovative Digital Assets
and Registered Exchanges (DARE) Act. It explores environmental,
social, and governance (ESG) standards, which are crucial for
wealth managers advising high net worth individuals. The local
workforce in The Bahamas, comprising professionals in finance,
law, and environmentalism, excels in supporting ESG initiatives.
The report also features AB Capital Partners, a New York-based
investment firm, that successfully leveraged The Bahamas'
financial products, particularly international business companies
(IBCs).
This publication is a WealthBriefing two-part series on
