Swiss-based alternative investment firm Fundbase has launched Fundbase Mobile, a mobile application for qualified investors looking to source alternative investment products, the firm said in a statement.

The app gives investors access to globally diverse alternative investments and allows users to quickly view relevant high-level fund data. It will also allow qualified investors to identify top manager talent anywhere around the world to help them with their investments.

Fundbase Mobile is available in both the Apple App store and Google Play.

"It's a unique tool allowing investors to source the best funds from an intelligently and systematically selected universe, based on an active and engaged community of qualified investors and a global universe of alternative managers," Pascal Rode, chief executive at Fundbase, was quoted as saying. "The mobile experience allows users to easily browse through interesting funds everywhere and anytime, something that was not available."
