Stenham Group Managing Director Departs

Jeremy Alun-Jones has left his position as managing director of UK-based Stenham Asset Management to pursue other interests, a spokesperson for his former employer has confirmed.
Alun-Jones left at the beginning of the month and his responsibilities have been taken over by the group’s chief financial officer and executive chairman while the firm is evaluating how to go forward.
Having held the position for 18 months, Alun-Jones joined after Stenham acquired Montier Partners, a discretionary investment manager where he was one of the partners and chief investment officer. He was responsible for managing the integration of the Montier team and systems into Stenham.
Stenham added $400 million in client assets when it acquired Montier in 2010. The fund of hedge funds had $2.7 billion in assets under management at the end of March this year.
