Standard Life Investments Adds To EMD Team

Standard Life Investments has appointed Kieran Curtis as an investment director on its emerging market debt team.

Curtis was latterly director, head of local currency emerging market bonds at Aviva Investors for more than 7 years. Before that, he was a fund manager at Morley Fund Management.

Reporting to Richard House, head of EMD at Standard Life Investments, in his new role Curtis will be responsible for the research and development into emerging market local currency debt.

Standard Life Investments had £163.4 billion (around $227 billion) in assets under management, as at 30 September 2012.
