Smith & Williamson Investment Management has linked up to Calastone’s cross-border transaction and settlement network, the UK firm has said.  

Calastone’s reconciliation service provides a single point of market access and helps Smith & Williamson standardise and automate the complex reconciliation process, according to a press statement.

Connectivity to the Calastone community is through a single connection. Orders are sent electronically via the transaction network, which provides a universal message communication and "translation" service.
