People Moves
Saffery Champness Adds Senior Figures, Makes Promotions
The hires and promotions affect jurisdictions such as Guernsey, the UK and Switzerland.
Saffery
Champness has made three hires, including naming Dominic
Lawton-Smith as trust director. It has also promoted seven people
in its Guernsey and Geneva offices.
Lawton-Smith, who will be primarily based in the UK, is
joining from Crestbridge, where he led the Cayman private
client business and was a managing director of the firm’s US
joint venture. He has almost three decades of experience in
senior management, relationship, and project management
roles spanning the Cayman Islands, Geneva, the US and UK.
Lawton-Smith will be working in partnership with private
clients, and Saffery’s global network of specialist advisors,
with a focus on intergenerational planning and investment
solutions through bespoke wealth structuring.
Also joining Saffery Champness are Sally Hunt as senior
trust officer and Sophie Walden as compliance manager.
Both will be based in Guernsey.
The promoted staff in Guernsey are Claire Tersigni and
Simon Ricketts – both trust managers; Lily Simmons and
Denise Brehaut – senior trust officers; and Caitlin Le Gallez as
people and culture officer.
In Geneva, Alexia Laird and Saskia Scheelbeek have both been
elevated to trust officers.
