US-based wealth management platform SEI has appointed Richard Goodall as managing director for its UK business transition in global wealth services, in an ongoing effort to strengthen the management team.

Goodall joins the London office immediately and will report to Ryan Hicke, managing director of SEI’s global wealth services unit in the UK.

Previously, Goodall worked at Ascentric as sales and marketing director, and before that was a board director of Investment Funds Direct.

The company said that Goodall’s experience and background in the financial services distribution and technology space, especially with platforms, would be valuable to it.
