Rehmann Opens Two Offices In Florida Expansion

Michigan-based wealth management firm Rehmann Financial has opened offices in Miami and Boca Raton, Florida as it pushes ahead with its planned expansion in the region, Dow Jones reports.
The new offices are the result of a growth push in Florida spearheaded by Scott Chaisson, a former Oppenheimer & Co executive, and will be staffed by five advisors with around $300 million in assets under management, according to the publication.
Peter Montalbano and Bill Burnett reportedly join the firm as financial planners from Oppenheimer & Co and Merrill Lynch respectively, and will work with high net work clients from the Boca Raton office; Montalbano will also advise clients from Rehmann’s Naples, Florida office.
The Miami-based team includes advisors Arturo Diaz, Antonio Bauza and Jose Torres, all formerly of Oppenheimer & Co, and is responsible for increasing business with Latin Americans in the US and abroad, the report said.
In addition to this, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio and western Pennsylvania are being targeted for growth, Rehmann Financial’s president Fred Schaard said recently.
