Raymond James Takes On New Wealth Management Team In Florida

Raymond James Financial Services, an independent broker-dealer subsidiary of Raymond James, has recruited financial advisors Michael Brannam and Patrick Brannam at the Jacksonville, FL, branch of Raymond James & Associates.
The team, also known as Brannam Wealth Management of Raymond James, joins the firm from UBS, where they managed over $250 million in client assets and had more than $1.5 million in annual fees and commissions.
Michael Brannam is a certified portfolio manager and managed accounts consultant. Both Brannam men are equal partners of Brannam Wealth Management. A 45-year industry veteran, Michael Brannam originally served as the branch manager of the Jacksonville office of UBS Financial, which he opened in 1980.
Patrick Brannam, senior vice president, investments, joined the practice at UBS 11 years ago. Prior to starting his career as a financial advisor, Patrick Brannam worked at GATX Logistics and later served as a senior management consultant at Deloitte and Touche.
Joining the Brannams at Raymond James are Matthew Watson, financial consultant, and Brenda Holtzinger, sales assistant. Watson began working with the group in 2011 while at UBS. He started his career in banking and securities 10 years ago. Holtzinger has worked in the financial industry for 12 years. She joins the group from Morgan Keegan.
In other recent developments, last month Raymond James Financial Services recruited a new team in the shape of Illinois-based Dashboard Wealth Advisors.
Brannam Wealth Management specializes in retirement, but also provides asset management, financial planning, estate planning and liability management services.
