Raymond James Selects Social Media Platform To Engage With Clients

Raymond James Financial has partnered with software provider Hearsay Social to support its use of social media.

Raymond James will use Hearsay's social media platform to help its advisors engage with clients on the social media sites LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, the firm said in a statement.

Additionally, Raymond James advisors will have access to a library of pre-approved content, as well as being able to post original content.

Raymond James said the platform will help identify “social signals” that clients share on social networks such as a new job, retirement, marriage, allowing the firm to respond with "targeted and timely outreach."

"Social media engagement is becoming critical to helping advisors manage and build their brands and support their client and prospective client communications. The platform not only helps keep them compliant, but will help advisors take advantage of many of the communication and relationship-building features that are unique to social media platforms. The ability to utilize this platform on mobile devices and non-work computers is an additional benefit," said Mike White, chief marketing officer at Raymond James.
