Precious Metal Reporting Capabilities Added To Envestnet Advisor Suite

Envestnet and Gold Bullion International have teamed up to integrate physical precious metal holdings into the reporting software on Envestnet Advisor Suite.

Registered investment advisors using Gold Bullion’s advisor platform to buy, sell and store metals will be able to have performance data on their holdings automatically streamed into Envestnet reports. By doing so, clients will see their precious metal holdings alongside their traditional investment portfolios.

“In an increasingly competitive advisory space, access to alternative investments like physical precious metals provides a real advantage for advisors who are looking to diversify their clients’ portfolios out of traditional assets,” said Steven Feldman, chief executive of Gold Bullion International.

The firm’s platform works by advisors placing competitive bid orders, which it runs through its network of dealers and refiners. This ensures “that both advisors and their clients receive competitive pricing,” the firm said.

Holdings are allocated to the client's name and stored in insured vaults in New York, Salt Lake City, London, Zurich, Melbourne and Singapore. The vaults are operated by Brinks, Via-Mat, and Malca Amit.
