Old Mutual Wealth Consolidates Websites With DST Platform

As part of continuing consolidation of its websites and "microsites", the wealth manager in the UK has signed up to an e-commerce platform provided by DST.

Unified data management, business processing and customer solutions firm DST has won a contract from Old Mutual Wealth in the UK to supply the wealth manager with its Opendoor e-commerce platform.

Opendoor is a digital platform that provides a single customer view for institutions, superannuation funds, and third-party administrators. The capabilities of the platform give wealth managers and advisors access to a suite of products and services via a multi-channel portal.

With the agreement, Old Mutual Wealth will consolidate several websites and microsites onto Opendoor.

Old Mutual Wealth intends to start re-platforming its public websites in the second quarter of this year. It is already outsourcing its back-office operations to International Financial Data Services, a 50-50 joint venture between DST and State Street Corporation. Old Mutual Wealth’s UK retail platform business is being migrated onto Bluedoor, DST’s back-office solution.
