Offshore Law Firm Adds To Global Teams

Offshore law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman has appointed six lawyers for a range of its services in the Cayman Islands, Mauritius, Moscow, the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.

Ben Hobden joins Conyers’ Cayman Islands litigation team, while the firm has hired corporate lawyers Ashvan Luckraz in Mauritius, Alexandra Karaganova in Moscow, Patrick Ormond in the British Virgin Islands, and Felicity Lee and Anna Barreira in Hong Kong, Conyers said in a statement.

Hobden specialises in commercial disputes, litigation and insolvency work. Prior to joining Conyers, Hobden was a senior solicitor in the litigation and dispute resolution team at a large regional UK firm.

Conyers has made a series of global hires in recent months, and said it expects to announce further growth during 2012.
