Nucleus Signs Up 135th Member Firm

Nucleus, the Edinburgh-based IFA wrap platform, has added DQS Financial Management to its network – making the Devon-based IFA firm its 135th member.

DQS was founded by directors Chris Dyson, Rob Quaintance and Carrie Strange in 2001, and now has 1,200 clients.

Nucleus recently announced that it had hit £4 billion ($6.2 billion) in assets under administration, and earlier this month it added to its finance team to support its further growth.

Nick Whitfield joined the firm as operational accountant, an appointment which followed that of Cara Gray as financial accountant at the start of the year.

Whitfield, who previously worked for Royal Bank of Scotland, is now part of a seven-strong team overseeing the financial management of Nucleus. He reports to chief financial officer, Aileen Mathieson.
