New UAE Head for Citi Private Bank

Citi Private Bank has appointed Mohammed Azab as executive director and chief officer for its UAE offices. His key focus will be to develop, grow and manage Citi Private Bank’s offices in the UAE as well as developing private banking relationships with high net worth individuals and families in the Middle East region. He will manage a team of bankers, covering investments, trusts, credit and general banking services, within the bank. The bank acts as an advisor to the region’s high net worth clients on wealth management and investment issues and has offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain and Kuwait. Mr Azab is a banker with 28 years of experience at various banks. He rejoined Citi Private Bank earlier this year. He worked since 1999 for Arab Bank as UAE country manager based in Dubai. Prior to that, he spent 10 years in various senior positions in Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait – at its head office in Bahrain. In 1996, he established and managed BBK’s representative office in Dubai, a position he held for three years.
