Expedition Advisors, the Hong Kong hedge fund firm, has hired an industry veteran as its chief operating officer.

Kam Bahra joins the start-up as COO, bringing with him over two decades of financial services experience. Bahra was previously the chief executive of Sparx Asia Investment Advisors, the Hong Kong arm of Japanese alternative assets firm Sparx Group. He left Sparx in January this year. 

Expedition Advisors was established in February by Craig James, former head of Asian trading at AM Investment Partners in New York.
