Moscow Move For Conyers Bermuda Associate

The offshore law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman has expanded in Moscow with the addition of senior corporate and finance lawyer Claire McConway from the firm’s Bermuda office, where she was an associate, having joined in 2009.

McConway’s practice covers public and private M&A, private equity investment, IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, cross-border lending and security arrangements, and aviation finance structuring. She also has expertise in the corporate aspects of Islamic finance and Shariah-compliant investments.

Before joining Conyers, McConway was counsel at US firm King & Spalding in London. She has also worked with London firms Denton Wilde Sapte and Herbert Smith.

“Our focus is on building our international offices by adding improved capabilities and the best lawyers in their respective areas of expertise. Claire’s arrival represents our commitment to building our Moscow offering,” said Caroline O’Hare, managing partner of the Moscow office.

Conyers’ Moscow office opened in 2008.
