Family Office Exchange, the network organization for the world’s family office business, is holding a number of events in October that readers of this publication may be interested to attend.

On October 8, FOX is holding a business owner roundtable event under the title Building an Effective Board and the Role of Outsiders. The event runs from 8:00am to 1:30pm, held in Atlanta, GA. The roundtable is recommended for multi-generation family members that own a privately-held family business and their trusted advisors.

The session is co-led by Family Office Exchange and Schiff Hardin, and is directed towards business owning families that are looking to formalize their family business, family office, or family foundation board, with a view to including non-family board members.

There is no charge, but advance reservations are required. The address is 1201 West Peachtree St NW Concourse Level of Schiff Hardin LLP offices.

Separately, the network hosts its FOX Fall Forum from October 28-30 this year in Chicago, IL. It is the organization’s annual flagship event. The address is at the JW Marriott.
