Mercer Adopts FE, Lipper For Advisor Portal
Mercer, the global investment consultancy and professional services firm, has announced it is using FE and Lipper to provide the technology and data for its Mercer Advisor Portal, or MAP, designed to boost research services to the wealth management sector.
FE provides nvestment data, software and performance analysis to the financial services industry. Under the agreement with Mercer, it will provide, through the Mercer-branded MAP tools, Mercer’s research analysis of investment strategies combined with advanced analytical functionality.
Mercer will use FE capabilities and data in most markets outside the US. Within the US, Mercer and FE will be using Lipper as the main source of investment data, Mercer said in a statement yesterday.
MAP has been officially launched; Mercer has already announced that it is being used by the US wealth management firm, HighTower Advisors.
Among recent wealth management developments at Mercer, in late October, it appointed Steven Seow as head of wealth management in Asia. Seow will be based in Singapore. He is replacing Edmund Teo who left Mercer in April to pursue other opportunities.
