Martin Currie Asia Head Departs

Martin Currie Investment Management, the financial services firm that specialises in charities, foundations, endowments and family offices, has announced a new Asia head following its incumbent lead's departure.
Jason McCay, currently the head of Asia, will leave the company in the summer of 2013 after serving for 15 years. Calling his move an "extended career break," McCay said he intends to set up his own investment business.
Taking over is Andrew Graham, who has been with the firm for almost three years. Graham is co-manager of the Martin Currie Asia-Pacific and Martin Currie Asia Long Term Unconstrained funds. Paul Danes, investment director, is the other co-manager.
Martin Currie is headquartered in the US. It opened its client service office in Melbourne in 2008 and then its client office in Singapore in 2009. It incorporated Martin Currie Asia, its central hub for the region, in 2012.
