UBS in the US has been subpoenaed by a bankruptcy trustee wanting account information on Bernard Madoff Investment Securities, a person familiar with the matter has said, according to Bloomberg.

The subpoena seeks information about Madoff accounts at UBS and UBS accounts held by several Madoff feeder funds and banks, including Banco Santander, the person said.

UBS has responded only to say: “We have received a third-party subpoena and we are complying.”
