London-Based Wealth Manager To Expand Into Scotland
Brooks Macdonald, the UK-based wealth management group, has confirmed that it plans to expand in Scotland.
A spokesperson for Brooks Macdonald told WealthBriefing that the firm is to open an office in Edinburgh, which is planned to be up and running by the middle of September this year. Further details of the launch, such as staff numbers, were not available at this time.
Brooks Macdonald has launched a new asset management office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent in April this year.
Aside from its London headquarters, the firm has additional regional offices in Winchester and Manchester.
The group had £1.24 billion (£1.83 billion) of funds under management at 31 March 2009.
