Lombard Odier's Tennant Switches To Lead Kleinwort Benson
Sally Tennant, who has been head of Lombard Odier in London, is to take up the post of chief executive at Kleinwort Benson next January to perform the same role in leading that firm’s private banking operations.
Frédéric Rochat will take responsibility for Lombard Odier's activities in London, effective from 1 October. In addition and as announced on 3 September, Rochat has been appointed managing partner of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie with effect from the start of January 2012, Lombard Odier said in a statement today.
Tennant’s move is the most high-profile appointment to be made since the wealth management firm – sold by Commerzbank in October last year – was acquired by RHJ International, the private equity group. Her appointment takes effect from next January. She joined Lombard Odier in April 2007.
Rochat has has spent most of his career working for the investment banking arm of Goldman Sachs Group in London and New York, first as an advisor to financial institutions, then industrial companies.
