Legal & General IM Names New Finance Chief

There's a new finance boss at one of the largest investment firms in Europe.

Legal & General Investment Management, which at the end of June had £984.8 billion ($1.29 trillion) of client assets, has named Richard Lee as its new chief financial officer. He takes the helm from Siobhan Boylan, who announced in August that she was leaving to join Brewin Dolphin as finance director.

Lee reports Mark Zinkula, chief executive.

Most recently, Lee was group performance director for Legal & General Group and he has held a number of positions across the organisation since joining L&G in 1997.

The appointment is subject to clearance by regulators. Michael Rallings, who is group capital director, will move into Lee’s former role.
