Law Firm Hires Duo In Channel Islands

The new hires bring the law firm's number of partners to 52.

Law firm Ogier has hired two client and trust lawyers in the Channel Islands, expanding the number of partners to 52.

James Campbell has joined the firm in Jersey, while Gavin Ferguson has joined Ogier’s Guernsey office.

Campbell has experience advising professional trustees, family offices, intermediaries and high net worth families on aspects of Jersey trusts, foundations and estate planning.

Ferguson, a Guernsey and British Virgin Islands law specialist, provides contentious and non-contentious fiduciary services to high net worth individuals, corporate clients and charities.

“Both come to us with outstanding reputations in their fields," said managing partner, Edward Mackereth. "Private client work is central to Ogier's practice and by recruiting some of the most respected names in the offshore private client world we are ensuring we maintain our leading reputation in that area."
