LLB's German Business Takes Flight

The venerable European private bank is now operating in a number of German cities.

Liechtensteinische Landesbank announced yesterday that it is now operational in Germany with new locations in Munich (pictured), Frankfurt and Düsseldorf and a total of around 40 employees. Besides the 20 staff now working in the country, most of the remaining staff are also already under contract and will strengthen the locations in the next few months, LLB said.

Additionally, LLB said that it supports independent asset managers from its base in Frankfurt.

Boasting a history of more than 160 years, LLB focuses on asset structuring, wealth management and investment advice. Custodial and execution-only services for clients ranging from individuals to independent investment firms add to the mix.

LLB’s booking centre remains in Liechtenstein.

In May last year, LLB said that Bank Linth, which it took over in January, was incorporated in the LLB business brand as the group raised its Swiss business profile. It has opened new offices in Zurich and St Gallen. The lender has also refreshed its brand identity, as reported here.
