Marcus Blyth as a fund analyst as the firm looks to expand its London-based fund research team.

UK-headquartered private bank, Kleinwort Benson, has appointed Arun Lad as head of London compliance.

Lad will report to Letitia Smith, the company’s chief risk officer. He joins from UBS Wealth Management where he was the director of policy and advisory since 2006.

Prior to that, Lad served at both Lloyds and Barclays. The appointment of Lad follows a number of senior hires in recent months, including Claude Cochin De Billy as co-head and managing director of Kleinwort Benson Private Investment Office and Joakim Gasslander as a senior private banker.  

Earlier this week, Kleinwort Benson hired Marcus Blyth as a fund analyst in its London-based fund research team.
