Kleinwort Benson Makes Another Hire In Private Wealth Management Team

Kleinwort Benson, the London-headquartered wealth manager, has appointed Joakim Gasslander as senior private banker in its private wealth management team, based in London.

Gasslander previously served as a senior private banker at Lloyds Private Banking, where he was responsible for multi-jurisdictional families and ultra high net worth individuals. Before that, Gasslander held positions at Gadd & Co AB and later SEB Private Bank in Stockholm. His experience includes advising UK and international clients on discretionary and advisory mandates, with a focus on the Scandinavian market.

In addition, Kleinwort recently appointed David Sargent to expand the team’s focus on the Middle East, and Ron Dicks as head of private wealth management in South Africa.

In other recent hires at the firm, earlier in the month Kleinwort Benson appointed Gemma Woodward as head of charities, a newly-created role, reporting to Stephen Rothwell, head of private wealth management.
